I'm not against helping others. But I think it is a shame to not honor, protect & serve our own brothers and sisters who gave up big chunks of their lives to protect and serve ours. Some by choice, others by draft. Not only is it the right thing to do, but we owe it to them!
My heart goes out to the refugees fleeing their countries for whatever reasons. If other countries would pay us back their war debt, perhaps we can afford to take care of our own and their refugees too! However, our Vets need to come 1st!

I probably support the men and women of our Armed Forces. I personally believe that if they've served in our Armed Forces they should get free medical care for the rest of their lives

Veterans should be taken care of first above any illegal immigrant. Pelosi and Shumer just shot down a Choice Care bill that would have helped all veterans. My fiancee and I have to drive 183.3 miles one way to receive the care she has earned. Thanks to that self serving arrogant shameless Pelosi the veterans are screwed again.

My husband is a Vietnam vet. He told me some stories of what he went through , it takes a strong man to go through that , it definitely was a rocky start since he does have ptsd but he is fighting through it still .

I am a Veteran and proudly served (USMC). What are we doing for my brothers in arm who are homeless? On a single night in January 2018, just over 37,800 Veterans were experiencing homelessness. On the same night, just over 23,300 of the Veterans counted were unsheltered or living on the street. Between 2017 and 2018, there was a 5.4 percent decrease in the estimated number of homeless Veterans nationwide. But that is still too many! There should be zero homeless vets. I say we help them first!
