Being a Vietnam Era female veteran (women couldn't go to war back then--and since when, experiencing the hell of war, is a privilege? I was GLAD to support the war effort, just not fighting it) and I will always have a soft spot for our veterans.

It's a shame the way some of our vets are having to live. They layed in Fox holes they should not be laying on the streets of America.

My Father - Samuel L. Hendrix- is a Living member of the Greatest Generation! He proudly served as a Jr. Naval Officer in the U.S.Navy in WWII in the Pacific Theatre and has Never had any fanfair over him or his service & sacrifice. He is the Greatest Example I know of our American Veterans who DESERVE THEIR RIGHTFUL BENEFITS AND MORE, OVER ANY ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT AT ALL! PERIOD! NO QUESTIONS ASKED!
