My dad and husband were Airbourne they gave their all. I have Uncles and cousins who also stepped up. Our Veterans deserve more then we give. People are worried about giving to illegals and their rights them they are about giving back to those who have their lives and those who came back damaged both mentally and physically. How can we give free education, healthcare housing, good to illegals and tell our Vets they have to still pay for their medical. Even if it is not the full amount for treatment any amount is too much on a fixed income. We need to stand beside, behind and in front of our Military . Not all wounds are visible. With my dad it was sleeping with his eyes open and getting up at night checking to see if the doors were licked, not trusting and being afraid for us. It can mess with them for life. They are angry and don't know at who or why. They don't come back as the same easy going person because the war changes people. They see death and had to live knowing it could be them.

My husband was veteran and was so proud of serving in the military and went on and served his community for 31 years as a policeman, he died in 2014
