I was in the military too and agree a hundred percent family first and it is so wrong that more isn't being done for homeless veterans,I was one briefly,,but got a subsidized rental,,thank goodness.I hope "our"government does more for these guys,they deserve it after putting their life on the line.

I am very proud of our service men and no one but them and their families realize the devastation they endured. At the very keast, we must take care of our veterans who fought to protect us. They should never have to worry about a home or food or insurance. My son served for eight years and can't even get a proper set of dentures since he lost his teeth while in Iraq. His is a very small thing compared to the homeless but we should take care of them. They took care of us.

We have freedom each and everyday because of the decacation of the men and women who serve our country. They should get every benefit we can offer as a country. God bless
