My hero's; My Dad, Preston Spurrier, was a coreman in the navy fighting the japanese in the Pacific in World War 2. My stepdad, Delbert Carscadden, fought in the Korean war in World War 2 as well. 'They' Rarely, if ever, discussed their experience... Just like my dear friend & 'partner', Gerry Cordero, fought in the Viet Nam war & only spoke of 1 of his experiences. That was when his best friend was nxt to him & the next second his bf had been blown out of his boots...

Right! I'm all for helping our homeless veterans before anything else gets aid. Not only are they first in line for help, deserve it as respect, gratitude and ethical compassion. There I said it.

I am a Vietnam Vet and have been treated quite well by the VA since my release from the Navy. Now it's time for the VA to take good care of our Veterans coming home from the fareast.
