My son is a disabled veteran having to live at home or he would be one of countless veterans living in the streets. Our veterans should be #1. We are also a gold star family.

I'm not against refugees, only that they have to legal, complete all documents, back ground checked and meet all requirements that all other people have to meet who have requested to enter the United States. At present I am attempting to get my fiancee who resides in South East Asia a visa to enter US for marriage. A horrendous experience. Let's not discuss the expense. I have to be backgrback checked by FBI and Do of Homeland Security. Had to pay them $835.00 to investigate me and that's only the beginning. My application packet weighed 4.7 pounds. This plus approximately an additional $4000.00. Is this a complaint. Somewhat, but I understand the process and how it's really become tightened up due to several reasons, prominent is 911 when we lost several thousand of our citizens. It's also for protection for ladies to not be admitted for marriage to a possible bad, dangerous person. My whining is basically to address a few questions. The thousands of people wanting to enter America currently amassed at our border in Mexico. Are they going to be investigated as thoughly and expensively as me, a US citizen for 73 years and a Vietnam Veteran? I won't take anymore of your time to answer this question. Not only frightening and dangerous for all American citizens, most of you already know the answer.

Those who have fought overseas to keep us safe here in our homeland deserve to have everything they need and more from our nation as a "thank you" for their selfless act!
