This is the very first time I have ever so annoyed with a company were I have to complain I am very disappointed with VERY for my first order I placed an order on black friday for Samsung galaxy tab 3 priced at £129 I placed the order and this was accepted and confirmed and delivery was set for monday. I now get call from your advisor to say that you got the price wrong it should be £279 and that my original order has been cancelled and you will not be honouring the offer that you advertised. When looking on your website now the price isthe same £279 so what price should it have been on black friday when speaking to customer service thaey could not answer. As first with your company am very disappointed and disappointed with your staff that could not help the situation, I would like to cancel my account and do not wish to receive any mail or email from your company that back tracks on sales and offers when everybody knows black friday drop prices low am guessing that you may have used this as an accuse to get new customers. I have seen your Facebook page and I can see I am not the only one disappointed with very. My self and many other would like you to honour the price.

Very shoddy and underhand way in which the customer is treated. Company taking advantage of Black Friday event and using not in the spirit of the event but in a way that only they can profit.

Black friday promo price not unrealistic, confirmation emails, 3.2 of T&C should honour. Ive also ordered extra accessories now which Im stuck with from other suppliers to compliment this xmas gift which won't be delivered. Wouldn't mind if Id abused and ordered 6 of them for profit purposes, but this was a genuine gift for my child!! If Id know this was a mis price I could have got John Lewis to price match on the day. gutted!!

I think it is disgusting that you are cancelling all the Samsung galaxy tab orders! you are offering £20 off the full price which is £140 more than advertised! the £20 is only about 7/8% of the purchase price. what sort of apology is that? I ordered on the phone and the representative told me the price and there was no issue there. but now im being told its cancelled. I could of got the tab 3 much cheaper on black Friday than your £269 price even with your pitiful £20 off! now because of you I now have no tablet for my daughters xmas present which I could have afforded on black Friday via a deal but I went with you as you had the best deal and I thought was a trusted and well known company. I have shopped with you before with no issues and im actually disgusted with you cancelling orders and offering £20 - that's not even 10%!!! I think you need to rethink your offer as this is outrageous, especially considering the tab3 was placed up two separate times at the advertised price. if you made a mistake would you not have noticed after the first time you advertised it??? no, you were just trying to get customers to order from you and make credit accounts and then change the deal. DISGUSTING!! you will lose customers from this not gain them!!!

Very have lied to get themselves out of trouble, a company the size of 'Very' does not put an item on offer by mistake. The items on a special event like this will have been passed down through a series of managers to get authentication, the description and exact details of the items would have been written down and checked by several managers before being authorized to go on the website. If it was a mistake why did it appear twice throughout the day? It was a poor management decision, they did not expect the demand and they are lying to cover their backs. The customer service is disgraceful and they speak to you like apiece of crap. There offer of £20 pound off is shocking as there were many better offers online that day which I have missed out on. They are saying that the credit has been rejected and therefore it is affecting the customers credit ratings. People have bought these items for presents and have been seriously let down. Some customers have been told that their orders have been cancelled others have had to ring and find out themselves at their own cost. As all this goes on the weaselly management say nothing letting their poorly paid call centre workers take the flack with nothing more than lies to try and fend off the customer. I will never use this company again and I will urge everyone I know to follow suit.

I have not been contacted at all by Very to say that i will not be receiving my order although when enquiring about when it would be delivered they alluded to the fact that the order would not be fulfilled although have not told me once and for all. They have taken my money and not refunded. If they do not provide me with the product then surely they are making money out of this? This company are blatently trying to scam money out of people who open credit accounts with them and were never going to fulfill the order for non-credit customers. I am appalled by the customer service and lack of effort to fulfill the order for new customers. If they do not fulfill i will never order with them again and urge everyone i know to do the same.

It is obvious very used this offer as a lure to get people on to the site and to open credit accounts! I also had another item cancelled which also then went up in price.

I also ordered the Samsung tablet and spent well over £300.00 on other items Friday. Some have been delivered already and I was contemplating to send all the items back and not deal with Very Again if they didn't fulfill the order.
Just received an email stating they will honor the £129.99 price at 1 per person.
I think VERY have done well in this situation.

‘Your website promoted a marketing banner that read ‘Black Friday Quick grab yourself some seriously amazing deals! Shop now >’ the price you quoted was ‘seriously amazing’ and with the marketing message featuring above the deal, I had no reason to query it. It would be interesting to see whether Trading Standards would regard this as ‘bait advertising’ – As it may have been an error on a normal day, but with black Friday deals featuring throughout your site, I would be interested in to see how your gorilla tactics and use of black Friday ‘seriously amazing’ marketing would be viewed.
