On Nextdoor in the last two days many Novato residents have posted that they have received water bills twice as large as normal. NMWD has just installed SMART meters that are connected electronically 24/7 to their system. I have also just receive a water bill that is twice my normal amount. Some people that posted had travel for two weeks with no one home, and still have a bill twice the normal size. They have checked to see if they have a leak, and they didn't. Please sign the petition to,let NMWD know they need to resolve this problem. This will allow documentation to them of this problem.
