Please sign if you are in support of adding a family friendly Community Center in Verona, Wisconsin. A pool has been a hot topic here in Verona, but GYM space in the community is needed much much more! While a pool would be a great addition to the community, a community center is a greater need in the community and could provide year round services.

Youth coaches are constantly struggling to get time at the schools and getting use of only a 1/4 of a gym to hold practices. The Youth dance program is forced to use the senior center and adult exercise classes bounce around to various school facilities. With a shortness of gymnasium, dance/exercise space, Verona is in great need of a Community Center.

We have a unique opportunity to use funding from the Epic TIF closeout which provides one time monies available for reinvestment in the community. A community Center in Verona would be a great way to provide space to improve the quality of Verona recreation programs and make school gym space more available to other users.
