Venice FL Publix Manager Reinstatement

We must not allow publix to get ahead of us on this issue. We must outflank this corporate enemy or no senior citizen is safe.

Please reinstate Mr. Caldwell to his managerial position. I think he did the right thing and should be commended rather than demoted.

Definitely won't shop at Publix. Give this man back his manager position

This gentleman should be positively recognized not penalized for his actions!

This is what you want in management,some to protect customer and employees.This is a know brainer to me.As a business owner this is what I Would expect from my manager.

This decision by Corp is so wrong . I am a faithful Publix shopper at village shops . But if this man is not rewarded and returned to his position at this store and treated fairly . I will take my bussiness to Winn Dixie . If this woman was me I would want someone too have helped me !! Corp needs to get in touch with Thier customers . I understand safe policies . But today we need to look out for one another ! If I had seen it I think I would have helped . Too bad he didn't gel Iam going on break as he ran . That would have protected the comp . ReInstate this man ! Do the right thing !

The way Management has treated this employee is. reprehensible

I shop at this publix and will not continue if they demote this employee.

Please give this manager his job back and back pay this is such an injustice he was doing a very good thing!

I have known James and his family for years. They stand for all that is good for Publix. As a past manager myself I understand policy, however this was beyond a simple shop lifting of store merchandise. James did the right thing because that is how he was raised. James is not a close friend just a past person I have worked with and got to know from my past Publix employment. This situation is not black and white as policy states, its beyond that. I also spent 8 years in law enforcement after my Publix employment and can say the world needs more people like James to stand up for the victims of crime. Great job James, I wish you the best. I sincerely hope (speaking as a stockholder) this is reviewed and James not be punished with a demotion but rather a coaching opportunity.
