We need community based sports ground, open to any and all. The municipality should do proper maintenance and upgrade the facility to benefit the whole community. Build places where the community can come together.

I doubt the legality of the proposed changes, Van der Stel club has a long lease agreement for the property which would require that the municipality provide equitable facilities should any part of the sports grounds be repurposed.

VDS has housed sports as diverse as baseball, bowls to Mainstream rugby and must continue unhindered.

Not happy with the desetion of selling the sports ground.to rich well our people must worry again where are they going next
