We have been using the Vds multisport facility for more than 20 years for gymnastics, karate, soccer, squash, gym. It is integral part of our lives. No to single use sport and private companies who can do as they please under veils of secrecy.

Guys this is going to be tough coz Rupert is the sole sponsor of Stellenbosch FC he knows people who know people but the slim chance we as the broader community of Stellenbosch and a die hard VDE supporter i know that we can overcome this takeover by Rupert

We can't afford to alienate our sports facilities within Stellenbosch. We already lack decent sports amenities for all.

Can remember VDS having boxing club, darts, gymnastics, netball, baseball and rugby to mention a few for the towns people. The younger people of Stellenbosch have a place to go participate in sport for a healthy town.

VDS is die tuiste van verskeie sportkodes. Dit is die munisipaleit se plig en verantwoordelikheid as regspersoon om sulke geriewe te verskaf en te onderhou. Dit is tog een van die funksies van 'n munisipaliteit.

These grounds are used for dog agility too and it would be very unfair to push them out.
