The VDS sports grounds uphold the community ethos of Stellenbosch to be inclusive, available, and maintained facilities for the recreational purposes of the community. The commercial interests of any one entity do not supercede the interests of the community, as enshrined in the constitution of South Africa.

There are already more than enough space for the football community, and I personally use VDS sports fo various activities- MMA, Crossfi and gymnastics. It is such a convenience for there to be many activities at one location. It would be a disgrace to see that change

The sport facilities should be available for all.Giving a multisport facility to one sport will be unfair towards the greater sport community

We prefer to continue operating as things are. We are happy working towards our respective goals independently. The current clubs are all complimentary to each other and allow the public to train and develop in the sport or discipline they prefer.
