We as a physician community must demand that our issues be addressed before the VAT implementation date. The MAB will submit a petition on behalf of all physicians in the Bahamas requesting that proposed VAT guidelines for medical services be reevaluated. Please sign the petition that is attached today. You must be a financial member of the MAB for your name to be included. If you are not a financial member, our Administrative Assistant will be contacting you to collect your membership fee of $300.
