Valve: Re-add Brilliant Bob to Steam
Valve has removed nearly 200 games by the publishers Silicon Echo and Zonitron Productions from Steam, accusing these publishers (who may be one and the same) of abusing the Steam service and trading card system to turn a profit with an abundance of low-quality games. This is a fair decision - Valve are entitled to keep their platform in the order they wish, and prevent unworthy developers and publishers from gaming the system. What cannot be justified is the inclusion of one bright, shining star in the list of games removed from Steam. That star is Brilliant Bob. An epic tale of Bob, the pride of Sekotwana, setting out on a mission to save his parents from the clutches of the evil Dr. Magazi. Excitement, adventure and tragedy await us all on Bob's journey. But the chance for a new generation of gamers to experience that journey has been cruelly snatched away by the powers that be.
Valve, I am not asking you to restore all of the games you have removed from your platform. But I ask you that this one, beautiful gem - this diamond-encrusted needle in a haystack somewhere in a quarry - be allowed to live. Show your compassion for the people of Sekotwana! Allow Bob to find his parents once again! Do not allow Dr. Magazi to wreak havoc on this peaceful land unchallenged! Heaven knows we need this wonderful chronicle now more than ever.
