Stop valley parks makeup ban

I think it is unfair as surely it will cause more bullying as girls are not happy with how they look. It does not distract learning it helps girls feel good about themselves they wear it to make themselves feel good. This school is banning so many little things and not focusing on there education. Boys are allowed gym bags were not even allowed hand bags there basically the same sort it out

Let's face it, makeup does nothing for the attention of guys, its really the girls themselves. C'mon, we're teenagers. Girls and Guys like each other. It happens. No one should be made to look one way for the opposite sex. If all guys were told not to do their hair and had to have it short because it distracts people, then everyone would be up in arms about it. I think girls should be free to wear what they like so long as its not ridiculous.

Honestly think this is the most ridiculous thing a school could do. Stop focusing on the schools appearance and start focusing on the education to theses children. Don't make the girls feel uncomfortable without their make up. It's just nasty and uncalled for. Sort yourself out Valley. You're patetic.

My daughter only wears a little bit of make up, it doesn't do any harm. I like the fact that valley allows a little bit of make up, I don't think they should change this.

You need to look at what makeup the teachers wear, they look like their going clubbing, get the women teachers to practice what they preach I'm certain that they would not take theirs off! So why should our girls be made to feel uncomfortable all the time, sexist that's what it is

So stupid, make up doesn't distract guys. Hell short skirts don't really distract guys, it's the girl themselves if they are trying to get attention. Let them wear make up within reason.

This is an outrage! Girls should be able to wear as much make-up as they want, doing there eyebrows contour and highlight.. Isn't too please boys if anything that's the last on there case, they do it for themselves?

Rather than focussing on the schools reputation, the school should focus on their students and their happiness; if this involves make up then so be it. If valley park was not so worried about their reputation then this ban would not even be in place - why should anyone be made to feel insecure/uncomfortable while trying to learn? Make up does not affect education at all therefore the rule is unnecessary and an attempt to fulfill the schools inflated self importance. Also, rather than saying it distracts boys maybe the boys should too, like the school, focus on education... Rather than a girls decision to wear make up? :)

It's crazy how people are saying not to judge people on their look, and the school isn't helping by getting rid of every single way to express our selfs!!! It's out of order! ❤️

Ridiculous! Makeup does not affect a students learning. If it is banned in the near future, they should ban female teachers from wearing it also, for causing 'distraction'. This school (prison) is getting laughable now.

Even though i dont go to this school i know quite a few who go and this makeup rule is absuloutely ridiculous, wearing makeup doesn't effect your grade. Girls should be able to feel confident in themselves and if that is wearing makeup then that's ok.
