Let's put a stop to the most ridiculous, money-wasting, obligatory, commercialized, sad holiday... Valentine's Day. Couples already have their anniversary. They do not need an additional day to celebrate their romance by purchasing obligatory gifts, flowers that will die, candy that makes people fat, etc. For single people, Valentine's day is a terrible day that is just a reminder that you are single. Even if happily single, it still is an upsetting day. For children, no kid wants to be like Charlie Brown without Valentines. There is no reason to put kids in this awkward environment at such a young age. Simply put, Valentine's day is a worthless day that causes us to spend money when frankly, we are still recovering from December bills. Let's put an end to it. Down with Valentine's Day!
