As someone who lived 3 doors away for 25 years up until the last 7, I can say it was not only empty for the 25 years I was there but neglected as well. For the last 15 years I have worked in the homeless sector and no how stretched services are. What this lady has done is taken a vacant property and turned it around. Good luck to her and let common sense prevail, she should be applauded

This is appalling. Why would the council make this lady homeless? She is happily living in the place that she bought. She is paying her bills and tax. Her neighbours are happy with her living there. What is the problem?
