VA does not have a statewide leash law, it's left for each city to decide if they want one or not. And most towns and cities choose not to have one. So please sign this petition to help protect you, your children, your pet, and your property from other peoples' unleashed animals. I'm a dog owner myself, my dog is NEVER brought outside off the leash, his and others safety is MY responsibility when i take him out the front door onto public sidewalks. Please help to make VA a more responsible and safer place for everyone.
