This petition is in response to the overwhelming amount of discussion about the creation of a 6th gen and 7th gen video games board, on the video games retro(/vr/) board on 4chan.org.

The goal of this endeavor, is to have a board that encompasses 6th gen, 7th gen, pc games from 2000-2010 and any other video games that fall in the time line of 2000-2010. The board (if created) will aptly be titled /v2k/, and will fill a hole in the discussion about said video games that is currently available on video game boards at 4chan.org.
