Dr. Chadee has been an invaluable source of guidance, support, and mentorship throughout my time at the University of the West Indies. Over the past year, his contributions have had a profound impact on my academic journey and personal growth. His departure creates an irreplaceable void that will significantly affect both the students and the department as a whole. I am deeply disheartened and disappointed by the faculty's decision to request his resignation. It is a decision that not only undermines his exceptional contributions but also diminishes the quality of the academic environment for current and future students.

Dr. Chadee has been an invaluable asset to both the academic community and to students like myself, contributing significantly to our growth, learning, and professional development. He has inspired countless students to achieve their best and to engage deeply with the subject matter. It would be a great loss to the Department.

Dr. Chadee is one of the few lecturers who completely embodies what I envision of a university lecturer. He has always been willing and able to provide professional advise and emotional support with the aim of building engineers who are driven by ethics, an aptitude increase our knowledge and an affinity to remain humble.

I am deeply saddened by this news. Having been taught by Dr. Chadee in year one, he was one of the few teachers who truly cares about his students.

Dr Chadee’s profound knowledge and experience in the field of engineering is invaluable and evident in his teaching. He advocates honest, respectful and well rounded engineers. His lectures were always very impactful as a year 1 student (now in year 2) and his absence will be felt by the entire faculty, especially upcoming year 1 students. Dr Chadee’s teachings have stuck with me personally and many others who experienced his teaching.

Dr Chadee as been an insurmountable help to me over the year that i have been at the University of the West Indies and his absence will leave a void that will be extremely difficult to be filled and I am disappointed in the faculty for making a decision to ask him to resign.
