I had a F1 failing grade (45) and only 2 percent was added. So I have still fallen short so its not everyone passing. They definitely should have remarked the course work. That is where the most issues were. Imagine I waited a whole year to do the one and only course binding me to UWI and I st Ik ll failed? Twice!!

The 17th has passed and the initial remark is going to be opened on Monday which will take 6 weeks for the results to come out was this petition a waste of time? Is our case going to be handled separately and the results will come out sooner before summer school ends? That's the only way this would have made sense. It was expected that uwi would take this long in order to screw us over. Kmt

Failed by 3%,cant afford summer school and I am a final year student.sigh! I did well on both quiz and did all required course work,even answer every question.Don't know how I failed.

Uwi needs to do something about this course. Suggestions:
1.Since most students got 40plus marks that should have been looked at and should be maked on a curve so students within that band would receive a letter pass. Just like cape, csec and utech have done over the years.
2. Open the remark early that these problems can be addressed there are 70 plus persons that signed this petition and it seemed like nothing is being done.
3. The university needs to address this in a letter because persons are really affected this is the second time one of my friends have done this course and have failed,this is the only thing that is preventing her from graduating she even said she wanted to commit suicide. This is a serious issue and the university should respect us enough to treat it as such.

Only course I have a problem with. I had no clue throughout the semester of what I was doing and whether or not I was going in the right direction.

Even though i passed this course by 1%, I failed this course by 4% last year and was suppose to do an oral exam because i was a finalising student and she gave me a written exam for an oral exam. I agree a 100% with this petition.

I can say nothing that has not been said above. Even though I didn't fail, miraculously I must add, something really needs to be done about Dr. Donalds and this irrelevant course.

I was unpleased because I do not know, if what I did on the mid semester was correct. Little effort was made to go through a full analysis of what was need practically, given that the course was taught by theory.

Dr . Donalds is not a willing teacher, she has very low communication skills. She does not mark the assignments on time , doesn't return the grades and does not.provide any feedback. She doesn't allow you to be able to communicate with her and query anything regarding the course and she always show an attitude that says she doesn't care if we fail or not. Something needs to be done about her now. Its time

I failed by 4 marks and this is my final year . With reference to the individual assignment she said I got 3 out of 10 i submitted a 20 page work and a followed the example that was posted on her slides . I am extremely upset. Before the class started I wrote several emails about the high failure rate and nothing was done by the school. I hope students are sending this petition to the correct authorities at school.

In full support of this notation, I think that the way the course was handled is absolute rubbish. I dont find this course to be useful to my Marketing degree and I absolutely agree that this course would be better understood in a lab. How can u have a computer course and not have any labs at all??? That makes no sense to me!!! And i am very happy that someone is taking a stand!!

From a marketing student standpoint, the course has very little relevance to the field, especially at the third year level where it's offered - in spite of its cited benefits. I approve of this petition wholeheartedly.
