Currently, the new CASS system that UWF administration has approved to implement in online course registration beginning Spring 2014 does not allow students to search specific disciplines. This change adversely effects programs whose curriculum is inherently interdisciplinary, such as Communication Arts, English, History, International Studies, Sociology, and Women's Studies. As a student at The University of West Florida, I am demonstrating my invested interest in the longevity of these programs by petitioning appropriate university personnel to include an option that allows students to search courses by their chosen major.
