The LCOM Class of 2024 would like to propose delaying the White Coat Ceremony until Spring or Summer of 2021, a time when we can hold the ceremony in person rather than virtually. For incoming medical students, the White Coat Ceremony represents a dream now becoming a reality. It is a celebration of years of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. By delaying the White Coat Ceremony to a later date, our class would have the opportunity to celebrate this momentous occasion with our families, friends, and mentors in person.
