UVMC--saving premature babies outside the womb in the neo-natal unit; killing them inside the womb in another area. Terrible news. UVMC has a regional monopoly and now decide its safe to jump into the abortion-for-any reason business? I am sorry for the nurses and staff there. Hope their union will protect their right to refuse to assist in the killing of humans still living in wombs. I strongly support the growth of independent (non-UVMC) hospitals and practices in VT. There aren't enough places for whistleblowers and poorly paid nurses to find work if the UVMC administration has policies and practices that are stupid and immoral. Meanwhile, the wait lists to get needed treatments are much too long.

I had my first child recently at UVMMC and had a good experience. But this new policy has me considering if I should go elsewhere for children I have in the future.

This decision will end the lives of many precious children whose voice will never be heard. Please reverse this decision. "Society is only as strong as the value we put on the smallest and weakest among us."

Please rethink your decision to use the medical center for death instead of life. We as people need to respect the life of everyone. Since we are not the one who gives life, we should not think it is out right to take life. I was appalled that UVM has decided to offer elected abortions. I beg you to re- consider this decision. I will not go to UVM for any service if it continues on this path

Hospitals should be in the business of saving lives not ending the lives of unborn babies. Sadly abortion has become a big money issue.

Abortion is not contraception. Contraception prevents life from starting. Abortion murders a life that is started. Abortion is barbaric!

It is hypocritical to end innocent lives where the intent of the hospital and all it provides is for the saving of lives.

The killing of unborn human beings is not health care. It is murder. Please reverse your decision.

Spontaneous and medically necessary abortion procedures are in the mix for all hospitals and it is understood that these are unavoidable. Hospitals should be known for bringing lives into this world and to restore lives whenever possible. Please rethink your decision. There are other options for people. As a side note, because of the overhead involved, I doubt that this will be anything but a financial loss for you.

UVMMC should be encouraging adoptions ; Not doing abortions. Please reverse your decision.
