My grandson's other grandparents live here. A playground is not much to ask. The attitude of the diocese (not very Christian!) and some mean spirited locals should not be more important than the needs of children.

Absolutely ridiculous that a small area for children to play in has been rejected

We live in a village with no play park and having to say no to a 'quick' trip to the park is upsetting as a parent. Parks in open areas looked after by users and councils are great. Who doesn't want to see children enjoying themselves having fun.

It is an huge shame that the playground was turned down - we still don't know the full reasons why, but thank you for taking up the cause.
