I live in Keller. On a good day, it takes me about 40-45 minutes to get to UTA. My route includes 820 and I-30, which are both in pretty bad shape. I do not want to reschedule exams, but considering UTA is a mostly commuting school, I think keeping the campus closed for one more day is best. It's not fair or safe for the people who commute.

You are making me chose between my life/safety for my grades. I am going to fail if you remain with your decision to open tomorrow. No one in Texas knows how to drive in this weather. I live an hour away, THINK ABOUT YOUR COMMUTERS.

I live 30 minutes away - I seriously don't want to get on the highway if there's still ice.

I'm more worried about what's going to happen once people get to school, the parking lots and side streets will be horrible! How is anyone gonna be able to park?!

I live in haslet and it would take me well over 2+ hours at least to get to school. Not to mention I don't believe UTA will pay my deductible if I wreck my car.

The weather is very unsafe and unsuitable for driving. I had four of my friends get into wrecks this weekend, and with the temperature at 20 degrees tonight, it is't going to be melting overnight. Reopen on tuesday and postpone exams for the safety of your students who sacrifice so much already.

I couldn't even make it down my street and basically slipped out of the driveway. I am not going to risk my life for school. make the exams available online if possible.

I completely agree that the school needs to remain closed until this ice melts. I am out right now and am currently stuck behind a wreck where someone rolled due to the ice, I will not be attending anything.
