Your signature is needed to oppose the proposed "Blue Route" for AEP's Biers Run-Hopetown-Delano Transmission Line Project. This route is planned to go through the Union Scioto Local School District in very close proximity to the school buildings and facilities.<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
As concerned parents and citizens, your opposition to this route of the planned transmission line will:
*Protect our children from potential long term health effects www.epa.gov/radtown/power-lines.html *Protect our community's financial investments to make this school a desirable place to educate children from in and outside the Unioto School District.It will send a message to the Ohio Power Siting Board, and AEP, that it is in their best interest and ours to err on the side of caution and choose another route to protectthe children. AEP has alternatives to siting the transmission line next to our schools.
