As he saved 3 men before losing his life and there have only been two ships named after him I highly think one more should have the honor.

Having served on the USS England (DLG-22), and spending time in combat with her, I am in total agreement that there should be another commissioning of a man-of-war celebrating this hero of the United States Navy and the United States of America.

My first ship was the USS England (DLG-22) and the first thing I learned about her was the promise that there would ALWAYS be an ENGLAND in the US Navy!!! Please, keep that promise made so many years ago!!! I am PROUD to have served aboard her and know that others will be honored to do the same on ANY ship of the same name!!!

Both ships named for Ensign England had very distinguished careers and represented his memory and the country with great pride and honor. That tradition should be continued.

Served onboard England (CG 22) as an Operations Specialist from Dec 80 to Dec 85. Time to honor Admiral Kings promise. Naming one of the new Zumwalt class after him would be fitting.
