I very respectfully request that a major Combat Ship be named in honor of John Charles England for his Heroics onboard the USS Oklahoma on December 7, 1941. I agree with Adm King, there should always be a USS England.

I strongly request that Admiral King's promise be honored. It is at most the very least that we can do to honor his name, family, and his sacrifice.

If Admiral King promise they're always be an hey USS England in the Navy, A promise is a promise.. as a United States Navy veteran there has been too many broken promises made to us over the years it's time that we own up and keep them that we have made, we need to stand by the fine Naval traditions that has made this Navy as it is today. Godspeed Ensign John C England USNR, Fair Winds and following Seas Sir, WE HAVE THE WATCH.
