Michael was a student at MMA when I was secretary to the dean. This young man was honorable, courteous and, in my opinion, above reproach. I honestly do not, for one second, believe he would take his own life.

Col. Stahlman, Michael was a classmate @ USNA. Motivated, focussed, leader...who not only mastered the art of leading Marines, flying and fighting for just causes using the law.. He was a dedicated family man and loving father. He was Right handed and exposing a deep wrong in the contracting world... on the merit of facts alone requires the travesty of this unresolved case be reopened...protections which hampered progress removed and the facts followed until those responsible....up and down the chain on command and influence

As an Army veteran and graduate of the Marine Military Academy (MMA) I support an independent investigation and seriously doubt Col Stahlman committed suicide.
