Using Synchrony (GEMB/GE Capital) Accounts with Mint/Quicken (Intuit)

There are numerous other major financial institutions attached to Mint/Intuit and GEMB is the ONLY credit company that I have an issue to linking to mint. It seems anti-consumer.

Please allow customers to sync with Mint. As your customer, it seems silly to limit our use of financial services. Disallowing the use of Mint to access OUR personal information for the mere fact that we will see competitive advertising is as if a retail store would only allow you to open a store card if you were mutually exclusive to them. We have the right to access our information AND look at competitive offerings if we so choose.

This has prevented me from applying for certain credit cards (Chevron) because they belong to this bank.

If you cannot keep track of your Amazon, Wal-Mart, and other payments due which use Synchrony Bank, are you less likely to make transactions on these cards? I avoid using them because it is harder to keep track of my payments due. I use MINT for all my other cards and bank accounts.

Walmart, Amazon, SAMs Club, LensCrafters, Gap, Old Navy, Loews, etc... All use GEMB/GECRB/ now renamed as Synchrony Bank.

I will be cancelling my Sam's card if they cannot resolve this issue. Tracking all my expenses in one location is convenient, and it is very frustrating that my expenses are not consolidated anymore.

Synchrony (formerly GE Capital) is the only bank who will not connect on Mint.com. I have a major credit card there and would like to add it to Mint so I can see all my accounts in the same place!

GE Capital/Synchrony, please allow Mint to assess my account information. I will transfer my balances next year if no changes are made.

Given that Mint is now owned by Intuit, the most recognized name in financial software out there, GE/Synchrony's arguments about security hold absolutely no water.
