Using Synchrony (GEMB/GE Capital) Accounts with Mint/Quicken (Intuit)

Tell Mint what they need to do to meet your security requirements already!!! And make it reasonable. The whole point of using something like Mint is so that we don't have to go to each of our separate accounts to pull down our paperless statements individually. These items SHOULD be available at no cost on each individual website; however, it is time consuming and ridiculous that I should have to do this same thing on multiple websites each month. In addition, ALL of my other accounts can and do work just fine with Mint - C'mon GE Capital/Synchrony!!!!

I keep my bills and things managed through mint.com and I am actually thinking about getting rid of my walmart credit card and getting a different card because I can not manage it the way I do my other bills. The website informed me that the reason you (GEMB) would not allow this is because it offers competitor advertisements and advise .... I feel like that's better than losing customers.

I have a Lowes Commercial account which I could access befor Lowes transfered to Synchrony. Hope mint solves this soon!!

This is not the only service GE cards won't link to so they should be candid about the real reasons. The security concern is nonsense because we're able to link cards from much larger financial institutions that have more sophisticated security standards. If GE truly believed in capitalism it wouldn't be against competition. When your competitors offer a service that your customers want to use instead of being afraid and provide lame excuses, real innovators welcome the challenge and innovate and provide customers better products and services. That way everybody wins.

Horrible that GEMB cares so little about such a large market. Just another reason to cancel my Amazon Store card and never use a single GEMB product. What horrid lack of caring for their customers. It has been for several years and will continue to be the only bill I have which does not go through
