In this day and time there should be no bank that does not allow a download of transactions into Quicken. I use Quicken for my personal financial tracking and not a single one of the other financial instutions that I deal with, including credit unions and USAA have any fears over Intuit Quicken security. Sounds like a cop out by Synchrony.

I currently have a few GEMB cards from various retailers. Since GEMB is not interfacing with Mint, I have significantly cut back on using those cards unless there are any specific deal going on that requires using the shop retailers card. This is a big inconvenience for me and you are loosing business as well due to my reluctance to use your products. Your explanation - as many have already pointed out - do not have the support of logic and hence difficult to comprehend. Please consider our request with utmost importance and allow Mint access to your systems.

This is the only company that is blocking. Don't really want to use my card, if I can't use it to track my budget vs spending

As I have stated to GEMB before, their excuse that Mint.com's marketing strategies could negatively affect their customer base via someone choosing a different credit card etc. is utterly unfounded. In fact, there is absolutely no way I will take on another GEMB card as long as they refuse to allow Mint.com to aggregate MY data for MY use. It completely undermines the point of a budgeting program designed to help me stay on track when I cannot track ANY of my gemb payments etc. They're being unnecessarily awkward and customer unfriendly. It needs to stop NOW.

since I'm unable to manage these accounts on Mint, they are typically the first balances I pay-off. Not the best business practice.

I'm intending to cancel my Sam's Club Credit and move to another rewards card if this isn't resolved in the very near future.

How do people working with financial data manage to screw it up so badly all the time?
