Online schooling with Zoom is plagued by crashes and technical difficulties. Zoom often glitches and won't let people into meetings. Discord is a completely free software that you can download or just run on your browser. They have special classroom servers where teachers can set up student controls, chat channels, and other things. Zoom can sometimes hinder online student's ability to learn, because of the terrible audio and video quality. Discord has special resources for teachers to help them. It's an easy to use and quality software. It's supported on all platforms and it's much more modern and easy to use then Zoom. Also, no more going through multiple websites to get into class. Teachers would send an invite to class in Discord. Instead of going through Synergy, we could do it ALL from Discord. Also, Discord could help students communicate a lot more. You can only talk to classmates/teachers ON Zoom, but with Discord there could be specific channels for every need, where students could ask teachers questions anytime or ask fellow students for help.
