This is regarding the television serial Chand Chupa Badal Mein (CCBM) aired at 8 pm on Star Plus.

There was news that this serial was going to go off air from April 15. The latest news that we read is that the serial is going off air in the last week of May.

The fans followers of CCBM sincerely and humbly request that CCBM should not be stopped.

Very rarely you get to watch such a serial which is different from the regular conventional serials. CCBM has a good star cast, well outlined story, good soundtrack (again which is hardly heard in television serials, and these songs are loved b fans, even used as ringtones), and above all the passionate and magical love of Nivi-Viren. This is not a conventional saas-bahu serial, but here u get see a bonding of other relations also which is not seen before, like Viren-Sid (brotherly bonding), Viren-Yash (brother in law bonding, which is so beautifully projected), Viren-Keshav (father in law- son in law), grand parent grand children.

Apart from this you can see the brilliant acting form the star cast. Here I would like to mention Neha Sargam, who though a new comer has such beautifully portrayed the character of Nivi and the journey from a timid girl to a strong woman. Kinshuk, who has portrayed the shades of the character he plays so convincingly. He is a brilliant and fine actor that you hardly get to see on Indian television. The other star cast has also performed so well.

The majority of the fans following CCBM are youths and also middle aged fans, who apart from their regular serials love CCBM. It also a big fan following outside India and this you can see on the India Forums where this serial is at number 2 position. You will also see that many of these fans following only watch CCBM and no other Hindi serials. You come across many love stories but rarely there is one that gets you hooked on. CCBM is one such that has had us hooked on to it and has become a part of our life. We cry and smile with it. It is also a source of energizer for many of us. Watching and Talking about it on the forum relaxes us and we are charged for the day.

Again we request Star Plus and DKP, please do not stop this show as such shows are rare.
