I'm all for use of hunting Dogs on all public land

Conservation and participation have many different expressions - don't shut out minority's.

Next will be hunting all together

Won't just be the dogs, hunters will be next, it will become a place to look at plants to and smell 1080.

Using dogs is very helpful in keeping the number of pests low on public land

Hi Paul, I had a read of the petition, something that is missing is the reasons why they are closing down on dogs in public land, i assume this means all dogs and not just deer dogs?? Need more info for me to sign. As it is i have never had anyone check my hunting permit so when will then check my dog?? also could tell me what area's are currently shut to "deer" dogs

Ive been breeding and using Hungarian Vizsla for deer stalking for 15 years, ive followed Docs requirement and had my dogs Avian avoidance trained, there is no reason to ban trained dogs from public land.

I believe deer indicating dogs when well trained pose no theat the native birds as then are under strick control from the hunter at all times and I think any responsible hunter would make sure their dog behaved while on doc land to keep the respect between hunters and Doc.

I support this petition. Dogs by far increase the success rate in hunting game, thereby helping keep these introduced hunted species in check as best possible for the environment.
