** There is NO evidence to support the premise that the continued import of Boa, Python & Eunectes would negatively impact the economy, environment, or human or animal species health.
** Broken Screens, the report which is the basis for the writing of H.R. 669, is not a science based document. It is a propaganda piece produced by a radical environmentalist group in league with the Animal Rights Movement.
** The so called Risk Assessment measures in this bill take a Guilty Until Proven Innocent approach that flies in the face of reason and promotes prejudicial treatment of all animals listed.
** Citizens of the United States are appalled that well funded special interest groups are able to promote fiction as fact and we demand Boa, Python and Eunectes be removed from H.R. 669.
The momentum building behind our effort demonstrates a widespread desire for policy grounded in actual science rather than rhetoric. We are approaching the one thousand signature milestone and reaching this number will provide the necessary weight to our arguments when we present them to legislators.

Reaching one hundred signatures confirms that many people share a desire for evidence based policy rather than reactionary legislation. It is encouraging to see this community focus on the facts surrounding these species. Thank you for choosing to stand by the truth of this matter.

The steady growth of this petition shows that many people recognize the lack of scientific rigor behind these proposed classifications. If each of you sends this link to three colleagues today we will reach our first hundred signatures and demonstrate the depth of our collective concern.

STOP THE OVERREACH. These animals are not invasive and they are not a threat. Let responsible owners be.

This bill is nothing but lies. My snakes are captive bred and stay in their enclosures. Leave our pets alone.

Common sense seems to be missing here. Completely unfair to lump all these species together.

Ridiculous. Do some real research instead of listening to groups who have never even held a reptile in their lives.
