Juniors are the least likely to spread the virus and there least likely to suffer morbidity or mortality from COVID19. If is considered safe enough to host an Elite event, then Juniors should be given equal consideration.

These kids are the future of both the sport and the USAC. It just makes sense to involve them. I know many are already leaders in their communities and should be here too, even if in the end events do need to be cancelled.

I dreamed of going to junior track nationals ever since I was a little girl. In the winter I worked so hard for junior nationals, this would of been my first year there. I was so excited for it, but now I am kind of sad that I will not be able to participate in it these year. but if we get 1000 people to sign this petition, it would make my dream come true. Since we have a outdoor velodrome, we only have a summer track season.

These juniors have been working hard and some will never get the opportunity to race as a junior after this year. If it’s safe a feasible the we should make it happen. Lexus velodrome is always a place available for just juniors if needed.

I believe that it is short sighted not to have junior nationals this year if it is safe to run the event. I agree that it should be a discussion amongst the junior development community. Thank you for your considerations.

Please keep Junior Track nationals because for some people it is their last year of eligibility and I don’t want my last year of juniors to end this way.

We see how hard our neighbor Kayla Hankins works, every day, and how inspiring she is to young fans (and future consumers) of cycling. It sure seems reasonable for these hard working young people to have a say in this.
