Professional sports (The National Football League, Major League Baseball, The National Basketball Association, The National Hockey Leage) are interweaved into the very fabric of our society here in the United States. They provide entertainment and a sense of national pride. These organizations also claim to do the very best they can to help the communities and people who support them through attendance and merchandising. The purpose of this petition is to ask these professional organizations to manufacture all officially licensed products in the United States. This in turn provides jobs, boom to the economy, and a sense of pride to the people of the communities in which they are produced. These are the same people who buy the majority of the products and attend the games. We may also petition Congress and our representatives in Washington considering their recent interest in the sports world. ie collective bargaining, steroids, etc.
