Home to many farming operations, tourism lodges, guest houses, KMI airport operations and online businesses, Not rural or remote.
Yet, despite its economic importance, Vodacom’s network infrastructure here fails repeatedly, often after light rain or wind, resulting in complete loss of signal and data.

Why This Matters?
- Businesses are forced offline, losing income and clients.
- Residents cannot make emergency calls.
- Farms face serious security risks.

Even backup providers like Rain fail because they rely on Vodacom infrastructure.

Each outage is met with the same response:“Your fault has been escalated. A technician will respond within 4 working days.” This is not acceptable for a known, recurring infrastructure fault in a high-traffic economic corridor.

We call on Vodacom South Africa to:

- Treat this as a network infrastructure priority, not individual customer faults.
- Implement permanent remedial solutions, not temporary repairs.
- Provide clear accountability, realistic SLAs, and transparent communication.
- Maintain these towers to the same standards as nearby main urban areas.
