Urgent Request to the US Surgeon General: Protect Young People from Irreversible Medical Harm

Do you think exactly the same way you did at 13, 15 even 18 it 25? Quite likely some of your views have changed. The should at the very very least be an age limit to people being able to access these 'therapies'. They should be given the opportunity to grow and learn and decide when they have a great like experience. As a teen-ager many tend to think they way they are feeling is the only possible conclusion on any given topic. It is a time of growth and development. It is very irresponsible to ask an immature mind to make an irreversible life changing decision.

My child is now 17 went through identifying as male from 14-16. After seeing a non-affirming therapist who made her think and question. She no longer identifies as male. She is happier than she even was while identifying, while she was in it it was all she thought about and it made her feel like being in a box.

The books Hitler was burning were from “The Sex Institute” in Berlin. They were promoting homosexuality and transgenderism amongst his people in an attempt to lower the birth rate. Our children are our future and their children after them matter too. We can’t continue to let these mentally ill parents push toddlers into agreeing to this irreparable harm to their bodies and futures.

Please stop these unnecessary procedures and medications! None of this should be allowed until they turn 18!

My understanding is that the suicide rate us abnormally high in this community. Education not encouragement is what's needed

Nothing healthful about encouraging a life with high suicide rates that might not otherwise be chosen. Nothing medical whatsoever should be done till past 18 yrs old when the person has had time to go through puberty and mature enough for some serious decision making

There are alternatives to surgery. This is body disassociation. This is child abuse.
