I bet none of the councillors children have this early start.
Get it sorted and look after these children. I would think that you are breaking health and safety laws as well. If anything happens to any of these children you will be held responsible!!!

As a teacher of Year 6 children, I am appalled to hear this. Our children should not be placed in this position.

My son will be travelling by bus to Eynsham from Sept next year. I think it’s outrageous that the new timetable was brought in with no consultation and the fact that it’s putting our kids in a more vulnerable situation.

So many concerns with the current bus arrangements - safeguarding, overcrowding, lack of supervision for students arriving at school so early, to mention but a few. This cannot continue!

This is so wrong leaving these children unsupervised early in the morning especially this day and age. Also the extra early start cannot be good either

Cost cutting should not put any of us at risk least of all our children

This is exposing children to significant risk particularly as they are arriving prior to school opening and are therefore unsupervised.

The welfare and health of the children should be paramount in making a decision on this - there is a duty of care and health and safety issue here which should not have been ignored in the first place.

I am really concerned over an 11 year old being taken to school not only on public transport but also arriving at school 1 hour before it opens .. not only are these new school children daunted by the change from primary to secondary but to be left for an hour is frightening for not only the child but also a great concern as a parent.

Please reconsider this arrangement it is clearly putting young children at risk.

These bus times are ridiculous! Surely this is detrimental to the children's education. They must be tired and stressed before school begins and by the time they get home much too worn out for homework!

Absolutely wrong to get children to school so very early with so much time to kill ! Bored undirected children = trouble!

Bring back the 2003 bus days
This is ridiculous. Safeguarding failure surely?
Surely this becomes a safeguarding issue
