Petition – Call for International Action on Mass Killings in Iran
We, the undersigned Iranian citizens living abroad, urgently draw the attention of the international community to credible reports of mass killings of civilians in Iran during peaceful protests.
According to eyewitness accounts and available evidence, Iranian authorities have used live ammunition and military-grade weapons against unarmed demonstrators. Furthermore, they have deliberately cut off internet access, electricity, and communication networks, resulting in more than 12,000 reported deaths to date, apparently in an effort to conceal these crimes. Due to these shutdowns, the full extent of the casualties remains unknown.
These actions constitute crimes against humanity under international law. We therefore demand:
1. Immediate and independent international investigations.
2. The preservation and securing of all evidence.
3. The prosecution of all individuals responsible for these atrocities.
