Urgent Call to World Leaders: Stop the Killing of Innocent Iranians and Restore Human Rights
We, the undersigned, express profound concern and outrage over the
ongoing killings of innocent civilians on the streets of Iran.
In
the face of widespread peaceful protests sparked by unbearable economic
hardship, rampant inflation, and deepening poverty, Iranian security
forces have responded with lethal violence. Hundreds of protesters and
bystanders—including children—have reportedly been killed, with
thousands more arrested, amid internet blackouts and severe repression.
The
vast majority of Iranians suffer under crushing poverty while their
leaders enrich themselves, mismanage the nation’s resources, and divert
wealth to support authoritarian regimes and proxies across the region.
We urgently call on world leaders, governments, and international organizations to:
• Stand in solidarity with the Iranian people and their legitimate demands for dignity, freedom, and basic human rights.
• Condemn the brutal crackdown and press for an immediate end to the use of lethal force against unarmed civilians.
• Support independent investigations into reported atrocities and hold those responsible accountable.
• Take concrete diplomatic, economic, and humanitarian measures to help restore peace, stability, and justice in Iran.
The
Iranian people deserve a future free from oppression and fear. The time
for meaningful action is now—before more innocent lives are lost.
