Keep the space for the children to participate in the sports they love and build friendships doing

These fields are the backbone of our community. The effects of not having a place to play and keep kids off the streets will severely impact this community and this city.

Safety is very important and migrants and underage children should not be in close proximity as we all see what happens in the Middle of Manhattan with the migrants

Our children’s welfare should be our first goal. Taking the space away from them is absolutely not kind, right, fair.

Please do not encroach on the limited amount of green space we have for our families and children.

This would be a disgraceful abdication of duty to the constituency.

Randall’s Island is a sacred place for so many NYC youth. There are so few options of green space. Limiting access would have long term implications.

Our children will be deprived the right to use the fields and the safety of the facility to once again house immigrants. There are numerous abandoned former military bases owned by the US government that can be used to house the immigrants.

Our children need accessible fields to play on and stay safe. This idea of using this area for immigrant housing is a tragic idea. As a resident of Ny state I am appalled at this plan.
