the fields have to remain empty to preserve the well-being of our children, since we know that among all the asylum seekers there are too many criminals

Please preserve the park for our children. This is not only a park it is a way to have physical, mental emotional health for our children and our families. Thank you

We must protect the limited green space our children in NYC have remaining. This will benefit current citizens and immigrant families. If we continue to prioritize real estate investors over children and families, we will continue to lose families to the suburbs.

Need to find an alternative option that is not at the expense of the kids.

As it it, there are so little places for our kids and communities to come together. Please Don’t take this space away from nyc. It is too valuable.

Youth sports are critical for our kids' physical and mental health. The solution to this humanitarian crisis cannot come at our kids' expense. Please find another place for the shelter and leave the fields for the city's children.

There is so limited space for our kids! The needs of our children should come first over migrants. Our state and city government needs to get their priorities straight. Make developers putting up high rises make space for low income housing, for our citizens already here first. Another priority. Governors island? It’s an empty spot. Build temporary housing there. No fields to take away from our kids. Where are all the thinkers in government? Can’t anyone there propose a good idea?

My grandchildren need to be able to play sports to enrich their lives. This space is necessary esp after restrictions from the pandemic and limited indoor activities in NYC. Our children are our future!!!

This will push more families with children out of New York City. I also feel the migrants need a better place to live. Upstate, near Albany is a better quality of live for less cost. Can we find a solution that helps both sides?

Randall’s island is a sports destination for children who live in NYC. Put children first above the migrants.
