Urge the Council to reduce the proposed 55% increase to burial costs in Birmingham from April 2019

Prices already sky high and to increase so much hitting the most vulnerable at times of austerity is heartless to say the least whilst some can stomach 2k pay hikes!

It's hard enough at the moment to afford any funeral if the prices go up it's going to be even worse

This shouldn’t be happening. Pure money making scheme by the council. It will put families in a difficult financial situation at a very difficult time.

55% increase in the burial cost is unreasonable, infact outragous. The increase should be in line with the inflation.
