Urge the Council to reduce the proposed 55% increase to burial costs in Birmingham from April 2019

I would like to show my support for this petition.

Please dont make it more hard for familys,people are allready strugling to cope with life.

It's already too expensive and u have increased our council tax and cut all services down

the price for burial is already too high this proposed figure of burial is far too much for the normal struggling family to pay to bury a loved one. Please put cost lower.

It’s very hard to earn to many driver on the road Uber took most of work

This is ridiculous, more tax on the dead , people have worked and contributed to the city whilst they were alive , and as a thak you you hit them with yet another debt that would pay for their bills snd food , shame on you Birmingham

Being g bereaved is painful enough without the added pressure and burden to find over double the amount to bury your loved ones

We are not happy to increase prices of burial .

The price is way too high, you need to have some consideration for the deceased family, they lost a loved one and then on top of that they have to stress over the pricy burial, where has the humanitarian gone from these people.

The burden should not put the deceased family into debt...
