Urge the Council to reduce the proposed 55% increase to burial costs in Birmingham from April 2019

Stop the increase in burial costs its high as it is- you rip off council

That’s really unacceptable! As it is part of life, so stop cashing in, as it is a need.

We are urging to city council to reduce the proposed increase of 55% in burial cost.

It's absolutely ridiculous that the council could even consider such an increase, we pay high council tax already and don't get any service with bin men always on strike and now they want to raise internment fees by 55%. Over a £1000 just to dig a grave, something which they do with an industrial digger and takes them no more than 10 minutes to do. Absolutely ridiculous

It will hit very hard the modal class people

I raised this issue in my speech at full council meeting on 26th February 2019 asking the leader of Bham city council how can you justify 55, percent increase.

Its unfair for council to charge greaving family and friends of deceased more than the expense already incurred both emotionally and financially.

Please keep the cost of burial affordab At the time of abbrevement we don't need another worry where is so much money going to come from
